BNB Chain Unveils AI Agent Studio With Wallets, Payments and AWS Cloud Integration

Key Takeaways

AWS and BNB Chain Launch AI Agent Studio With Built-In Wallets and Crypto Payments

BNB Chain has launched BNB Agent Studio, a new developer platform designed to let builders create onchain AI agents from a simple prompt in about 15 minutes.

The platform is live on BNB Smart Chain mainnet and works inside tools such as Cursor, Claude Code and other MCP-compatible development environments. Developers describe the agent they want, and the system handles the wallet, identity, payment rail, hosting setup and access to language models.

The product was co-engineered with the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center. It includes an Infrastructure-as-Code generator that provisions an agent’s cloud environment using current security and least-privilege practices, then deploys the agent to Amazon Bedrock Agentcore, AWS’s managed agent runtime.

Nina Rong, executive director of growth at BNB Chain, said building autonomous agents has usually required developers to stitch together several vendors for wallets, identity, payments, models and hosting.

BNB Agent Studio replaces all of that with a single install, designed as one product from the ground up,” Rong said.

Agents With Wallets, Identity and Payments

Each agent created through BNB Agent Studio receives an onchain identity based on ERC-8004 and a task interface using ERC-8183. That allows other agents to discover it, verify it, and call it for work.

The agent also receives a wallet and can accept crypto payments for the services it performs. It can use those payments to cover its own operating costs, including language model access. The self-funding loop uses the x402 payment protocol, drawing from the wallet funded by the developer and settling payments in $U on BNB Smart Chain.

BNB Chain said this changes the operating model for agents. Instead of being scripts that stop when credits run out, they can run continuously, earn, pay their bills, and remain available between tasks.

AWS Runtime Meets Onchain Ownership

The platform combines Amazon Bedrock Agentcore as the runtime with BNB Chain’s onchain infrastructure. That design is intended to make agents portable. They can be paused, resumed, migrated, recovered, and transferred to a new owner without losing their accumulated context or identity.

The first release includes the BNB CLI, a Studio MCP server, the BNB Chain SDK, and support for Python. More programming languages and MCP-compatible environments are planned.

BNB Chain said it intends to ship new Agent Studio capabilities every two weeks. The broader goal is to support what it calls the agentic economy, where AI agents can monitor markets, manage tasks, seek yield and execute financial actions without constant human input.
